Last month, I argued that the campus protests involve Arab nationalists and liberal student activists – and that the latter don’t even realize they’re involved in a nationalist movement. See, “Campus Protests Support Arab Nationalism, Not Antisemitism or Civil Rights.” A recent YouTube video supports that view by revealing how little many in the second group know about the conflict. It’s funny, but it’s sad.

On the bright side, the video also supports my argument that ignorance drives liberal student activists, not antisemitism.

The video comes from Facts for Peace, a pro-Israel advocacy group. I don’t know much about what they stand for. (From the little I do know, I suspect they’d disagree with my argument that antisemitism does not lie behind campus protests.) And I know zero about who’s behind them. So I’m not endorsing them. Whatever else the organization may say or do, the video speaks for itself.
